Beef Goulash

 

900 g beef chuck
900 g onion
100 ml oil
1 tbsp. tomato paste
500 ml water
3-4 tbsp paprika powder
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
salt, ground caraway
marjoram, vinegar

Chop onions . . .

 

. . . and sauté them.

 

Sir in paprika powder . . .

. . . and douse immediately with water and cook the onions until tender

 

Cut meat into cubes.

 

Add meat cubes.

Add tomato paste, garlic and other spices, cover and simmer until tender (about 2 hours). If necessary add water. Season with salt and pepper, maybe refine with stock cube.
