Lettuce Hearts with Blue Cheese

 

12 pieces

6 slices of ciabatta
150 g mild blue cheese
3 lettuce hearts
12 slices prosciutto
2 tbsp. olive oil
pepper

 

 

Cut the ciabatta slices in half. Cut the cheese into strips, quarter the lettuce hearts lengthwise and cover each with a strip of cheese and pepper.
Wrap a slice of prosciutto around each lettuce heart and place on a plate.
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, fry the bread until golden, remove and drain on kitchen paper. Fry the lettuce hearts briefly on both sides and arrange on the ciabatta.

Tip: Can also be prepared on the grill.
