Chili Chicken

350 g chicken (without skin and bones)
1 egg white (whisked)
2 tbsp. cornstarch
4 tbsp. oil
2 cloves garlic (mashed)
1 cm root ginger (grated)
1 red u. 1 green pepper
2 red chillies (chopped)
3 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. sherry (dry)
1 tbsp. wine vinegar
salt pepper

 

Dice the meat and mix with salt, egg white, cornstarch and 1 tbsp. oil. Remove seeds of the peppers and dice.
Heat the remaining oil in a wok. Fry garlic and ginger 30 seconds with stirring. Add meat and sauté about 5 minutes.
Add pepper, chilli, soy sauce, sherry and vinegar and simmer 5 minutes more until the chicken is cooked.

 

         Side dish: rice
