HUHN  in  WEISSWEIN

Chicken in White Wine

1 chicken
2 red onions
250 g mushrooms
150 g bacon
350 ml white wine
salt, pepper, oil

 

 

Cut chicken into 10 pieces, season with salt and pepper. Fry the pieces all around, remove and keep warm. Peel and slice onions, quarter mushrooms.
Dice the bacon and fry in frying residue, add onions and mushrooms and sauté briefly. Pour in wine and place the chicken pieces. Cover and simmer about 40 minutes.
Serve with white bread.
