Kohlrabi Stew with Kabanossi

4 large kohlrabi
500 potatoes
2 large carrots
2 sticks of cabanossi or 150 g salami
1 cup of cream
4 cloves of garlic
1,25l vegetable soup
salt, pepper, oil

 

 

Peel the kohlrabi and potatoes and cut into bite-sized cubes, slice the peeled carrots. Peel and finely dice onion and garlic, slice cabanossi.
Heat 2 tbsp. oil in a large pot and fry the onion and garlic. Add the kohlrabi and potatoes and fry briefly. Pour in hot vegetable soup, bring to the boil and simmer for about 30 minutes. After 15 minutes add the sausage.
Refine the finished stew with cream, bring to the boil and season with salt and pepper.
