Macaroni with Seafood

3 tbsp. olive oil
1 onion (chopped)
4 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
100 ml white wine
400 g diced tomatoes (tin)
2 tbsp. freshly chopped herbs
salt, pepper, pinch of sugar
400 g macaroni
400 g mixed seafood
 

 

 

Heat 2 tbsp. oil in a pan, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Pour in the wine, bring to the boil and add the tomatoes with their juice, sugar and herbs. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for 15 minutes.
Cook the macaroni in salted water until al dente, drain and return to the pan. Mix the remaining oil into the pasta. Add the seafood to the tomato sauce and simmer for approx. 4 minutes. Serve the sauce with the seafood on top of the pasta.
