PASTA   mit   SPECKSAUCE  

Pasta with Bacon Sauce

200 g bacon
4 tbsp. oil
1 chili pepper
125 ml white wine (dry)
1 onion (finely chopped)
400 g peeled tomatoes (canned)
500 g pasta
parmesan (grated)
salt, pepper

 

 

Cut bacon into small cubes. Remove seeds and chop chili pepper finely. Heat oil and fry bacon and chili peppers over medium heat crisby. Add wine and boil them down. After one minute add onion and stew until tender. Now add tomatoes and boil them down too. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve pasta with sauce and sprinkle with parmesan.
