Potato Goulash

1 kg potatoes
100 g streaky bacon (en bloc)
100 g onions
1 tbsp. sweet paprika
oil
salt, pepper, marjoram, carawy seed
400 ml beef soup (cube)
250 g Frankfurter sausages, Debreziner or every other smoked sausage

 

 

Peel the potatoes and dice into 3 cm and the sausages in small cubes. Cut bacon in small cubes and fry until translucent. Peel the onions, chop finely, add to the bacon and fry until they are golden brown. Add sweet paprika, sauteé for only 3 seconds and pour the soup in. Spice with salt, pepper, marjoram and caraway seed. Add the potatoes and simmer coverd until the potatoes are soft and the potatoe starch makes the juice creamy. Add the sausages, the should be cooked for the last10 minutes. Stirring regulary. At last season to taste.
