PAPRIKAREIS   

Pepper Rice

250 ml cup of rice
1 onion
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. paprika powder
3 cloves of garlic (crushed)
1 bunch of chives (chopped)
salt

   

 

Preheat oven to 180 ° C. Peel the onion and chop finely. Sauteé onion and a cup of rice in butter. Stir in paprika powder and douse immediately with 2 cups of water. Season with salt and garlic and bring to a boil. Cook covered in oven about 30 minutes until done.
Towards the end of cooking stir in the chives.
