HÜHNERLEBER  APFEL  SPIESSE 

Chicken Liver Skewer

(for 2 persons)

250 g chicken liver
1 apple
1 small red onion
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 punch chives
3 tbsp. oil
150 ml gravy

 

 

Prepare chicken liver. Peel apple and onion. Quarter apple, remove core and cut into 12 peaces. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Quarter onion and divide into layers. Chop chives finely.
Thread the chunks of chicken liver and appel on skewers, alternating onion. Spice with salt, pepper and marjoram.
Heat oil in a pan and fry skewers on both sides, remove them and keep warm. Add gravy and bring it to the boil. Stir in chives.

 

       Side dish: nut rice
