Cevapcici Skewers

1/2 onion
125 g sheep's cheese
1 can kidney beans (425 ml)
1/2 lettuce
3 tbsp. white wine vinegar
salt, pepper, oregano
5 tbsp. olive oil

1 onion
350 g minced meat
1/2 tbsp. tomato paste
2 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp. paprika powder (hot)
1 tsp. mustard (hot)

 

 

Peel and dice 1/2 onion. Also dice the sheep's cheese. Rinse the beans in a sieve under cold water and drain. Wash the lettuce and also drain.
Mix the vinegar, salt, pepper and oregano and whisk in the olive oil. Mix the beans, feta cheese and onion with the marinade and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
Peel and finely chop 1 onion and knead with the mince, salt, pepper, paprika powder, pressed garlic cloves, mustard and tomato paste. Form small rolls and put 3 rolls on each skewer.
Grill on the barbecue for approx. 10 minutes, turning.
Lay out plates with lettuce leaves, season the salad again and arrange on top.
Serve the skewers with the salad.
