Dynamit  Sticks

1 packet of canelloni
50 - 70 g minced meat per stick
200 g cheese (Emmental, Gouda, . . .)
2-3 slices of bacon per stick
BBQ sauce
salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce

 

 

Season the mince with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce or to your own taste. Cut the cheese into cubes. These should fit into the cannelloni as precisely as possible. Place a piece of cheese in each cannelloni tube, with minced meat to the left and right. Then wrap a strip of bacon lengthways around it and seal the ends with it. Then wrap one or two strips of spiral sponge across the rolls. Leave to infuse for an hour. Grill for 45 minutes at 180°C indirect heat. Then brush the sticks with BBQ sauce and grill for a further 5-10 minutes.
