Hoisin Pork Fillet Skewers

800 g pork fillet
Sauce:
150 ml hoisin sauce
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. five spice powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. cornflour
2 spring onions (young onions)

 

 

Soak the wooden skewers in warm water for 30 minutes. Cut the fillet into 2-3 cm cubes. Whisk the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl. Add the fillet pieces and mix well.
Marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes. Slice the onion thinly.Put the pork on the skewers and grill for 3-4 minutes on each side. Serve garnished with the onion slices.
Skewers can also be kept covered in the fridge for up to a day.
