Indian Lamb Shanks

4 lamb leg steaks
250 ml yoghurt
Juice of half a lemon
3 cloves of garlic
2 tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. ginger root (chopped)
2 tsp. cumin (ground)
1 tsp. coriander (ground)
1 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp cardamom (ground)
cayenne pepper
salt and pepper

 

 

Mix well all the ingredients. Cover the steaks both sides and marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
Grill over high heat.
