MACCERONI   ARRABBIATA 

Macaroni Arrabbiata

400 g macaroni
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 small onion
4 gloves of garlic
100 g bacon
1 chilli pepper
400 g tomatoes (pelati) canned
50 g parmesan (grated)
salt, pepper, cayenne pepper

 

 

Cut onion, bacon and garlic into small cubes. Halve chilli pepper lengthwise, remove seeds and cut into small stripes. Heat oil in a pan, roast bacon and add onion, garlic and chili pepper then. Add tomatoes with juice to the pan and chop roughly. Boil down some minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Cook macaroni firm to the bite and serve them sprinkled with parmesan.
