Drain and squeeze out Sauerkraut. Wash and slice the
peppers into 1/2 cm pieces. Peel and chop the onion. Sauté onion and
pepper in a little oil, stir in flour and fry briefly. Douse with soup
and boil up. Add sauerkraut, bay leaves and juniper berries. Salt
sauerkraut, cover and simmer over low heat about 45 minutes. Remove bay
leaves and juniper berries.
Cut sausages into half and wrap in bacon. Stick 4 sausages on each
skewer and season with salt and pepper. Fry in oil on both sides.
Serve sausage skewers and with cabbage. |
