TOMATEN  auf  SCHINKENREIS 

Ham on Tomato Rice

1 onion
2 tbsp. oil
150 g ham
600 ml of soup (cube)
300 g rice
3 tomatoes
100 g Gouda cheese (grated)
salt, pepper

 

 

Peel and chop onion and sauté in a pan. Add diced ham. Douse with soup and season with salt and pepper. Stir in rice.
Peel tomatoes, cut into slices and put onto the rice. Simmer covered over low heat about 20 minutes.
Before serving, sprinkle with grated cheese.
