KARTOFFEL  WURSTKESSEL

Potato Sausage Pot

800 g of potatoes
300 g onions
1 red bell pepper
3 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp. cumin
1 tbsp. paprika powder
50 ml vinegar
400 ml vegetable soup
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp. marjoram (dried)
300 g Debreziner (paprika sausage)
250 g sour cream
salt, pepper, parsley, oil

 

 

Peel potatoes and onions, cut potatoes into large pieces, dice onion finely. Cut pepper in half, remove stalk and seeds and cut into 1 inch wide pieces. Peel the garlic and cut thin slices.
Sauté onion and garlic in oil, add cumin and paprika powder stir and deglaze with vinegar. Douse with soup. Add bay leaf and marjoram and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Cut sausages into 1 cm thick slices, add to the potatoes and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve garnished with chopped parsley and sour cream.
