Kohlrabi Soup with Ham

500 g kohlrabi
1/2 small onion
1 tbsp. butter
500 ml of soup
125 ml cream
100 g ham
1 tbsp. parsley
salt, pepper, nutmeg

 

Peel kohlrabi and onion peel and chop. Sauté in butter, pour in the soup and simmer for 15 minutes.
Cut ham into thin strips and chop parsley.
Stir cream into the soup, bring to the boil, season and mash.
Boil soup and serve garnished with parsley and ham.
