Dice onions finely. Bring salted water to the boil, add
shredded cabbage and onions. Simmer for about 40 minutes until water is
evaporated and cabbage tender. Stir sometimes. Heat butter in another
pot, stir in flour, add milk, simmer for 5 minutes and stir well. Now
add flour-milk mixture to the soup and stir carefully. |
